Hey where did we go, (where didn't we go?)
Days when the rains came (Phil teaches his Dad's Name)
Down in the (dark) hollow,
(playin,) Playin' a new game,
Laughing and a running hey, hey (we can run...)
Skipping and a jumping (trippin and a thumpin)
In the misty morning fog with (our friends collecting the morning dew)
Our hearts a thumpin' and you (still are)
My brown eyed girl, (irie-eyed)
You my brown eyed girl. (susan?)

Whatever happened (no, seriously...)
To Tuesday and so slow (to stella tunes playin so slow...)
Going down the old mine (Going down the Cumberland mine)
With a transistor radio (u got a patch?)
Standing in the sunlight laughing, (dreamin about being overcome)
Hiding behind a rainbow's wall, (thanks for showing it all)
Slipping and sliding (tripping while riding)
All along the water fall, with you (up to Buffalo!)
My brown eyed girl, (my black-shirted man)
You my brown eyed girl. (kind of band)

Do you remember when we used to sing, ()
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da

So hard to find my way, from now to then
Now that I'm all on my own. (without soundboards)
I saw you just the other day, (i saw just the other ones)
My how you have grown, (my, how my girls have grown!)
Cast my memory back there, Lord (please leave it there too)
Sometime I'm overcome thinking 'bout (nothin, but stella blue)
Making love in the green grass
Behind the stadium with you
My brown eyed girl
You my brown eyed girl (mountain girl)

Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da.

BUILT TO LAST!

THEM with Van Morrison had at least 2 songs in common with Grateful Dead, Turn On Your Lovelight and It's All Over Now Baby Blue.

Somewhere, it's always 1966.
It's great to see young ones discovering "it" all over again.

Hold a magnifying glass too close to then or now and well, dust mites are crawling up and down your sleeve too, baby.
